dress ups and workmen

Hi All,

Lately mum has been buying me some things to start a dress up box. She bought me some kneepads:

There is only one in the picture because I would only wear one if mum or dad was wearing the other one.

And a hat:

I wanted to wear this hat as soon as we left the op shop and a lady walking past said I looked very dashing!

That's all the dress up things I have so far.

We have had some workmen in our house lately. I like to talk to them. I say, "Hello Man". If they don't talk back, I talk for them. I say "Hello buddy" in a deep voice.

The other day the workmen were in the kitchen and mum was changing my nappy in my bedroom (right next to the kitchen). Everything was very quiet so I said in a loud voice, "DON'T TOUCH PENIS." I think mum was worried about what the workmen thought she was doing. I thought it was funny.

Red cheeks

Hi All,

Today I want to tell you that I have a cold. I coughed a lot last night and today I have a snotty nose. This is a photo of me and my mum (I'm the one with the very red cheeks):

Today we spent time outside doing a lot of gardening, and playing football, and eating picnic lunch and riding my bike.

That's all for now,

Boxes

Hi All,

A postman delivered a box yesterday for my mum. It was a big box. When dad got home we opened it up. Inside the big box was another big box wrapped in pink paper and a big bow. Mum says it's her birthday present.

I then decided it was a good idea to climb into the big box.

It was a lot of fun.

I then tipped the box over and used it to hide in. Mum and Dad had to come into my hiding box (but not at the same time because it's not that big).

All the little packing popcorn came out of the box. It took Mum, dad and me about 10 minutes to clean them all up. Dad found one in his shoe this morning.

That's all for now,

Wedding

Hi All,

I've been very busy since the last time I blogged.

Mum and I took Aunty Leanne to Bairnsdale with a WHOLE lot of stuff in our car. We had flowers and boxes and suitcases and a cat and baskets and tableclothes and napkins and seat covers and ribbons. It was so full that when we stopped for lunch mum and Aunty Leanne had to get me out through the front of the car.

When we got to Bairnsdale, mum and Aunty Leanne got very busy. I don't know what they were doing but I just spent the next 2 days hanging out with Grandad. We watched the car races and we mowed the lawn.

Then on Saturday we went to Aunty Leanne and Uncle Tim's wedding.

My Aunty Leanne looked very beautiful (and Uncle Tim looked OK too).

My Mum looked a bit fancy:

Do you want to see a photo of me in my nice black suit that mum bought specially for me?

Well you can't.

Because when Mum and Dad tried to put it on me I got very, very upset. Once the shirt was on I just cried, "Shirt off, please. Shirt off, please." No wonder - the shirt was pink! Pink! How did they expect me to wear a pink shirt. Nope. Wasn't going to happen. So I just wore my suit pants and a normal top. If you look closely in this photo I'm in between Aunty Leanne and Uncle Tim:

So now Uncle Tim and Aunty Leanne are married. This means that my Uncle Tim is now my Uncle Tim. Although he's always been my Uncle Tim. I don't know.

I hope this brings you up to date on what's been happening in my life. What have you been up to?

Bye for now,

Play Centre

Hi All,

Last Saturday it was Uncle Tim's bucks night (and I wasn't invited) so Aunty Leanne, mum and I decided to go to a play centre and have some fun.

I loved it very much. There was lots to do. The thing I loved most of all was the jumping castle:

I jumped and jumped like a kangaroo. I loved it so much that even after 2 different people banged heads with me (within about 10 seconds of each other) I still wanted to keep jumping even though I was crying. I wanted to cry but also jump because if I stopped to have a cuddle and a cry then I couldn't keep jumping. Jumping definitely trumped crying.

I loved it a lot.

Aunty Leanne was jealous because she wanted to jump too but she couldn't because none of the other adults were jumping (and if she had started jumping everyone would have looked at her and commented on how inappropriate she was being).
