Hi All,
Today is hot.
So this morning we all went to the movies and saw Planet 51. Mum says I was a very well behaved boy. I didn't run around or move from our row of seats. I ate a lot of nutri grain and a vegemite sandwich. I've never been to the movies before with my dad - it was fun.
When mum was changing my nappy today I said to her, "Wee. Don't drink it." I think that's an important lesson for everyone. I am full of wisdom.
That's all for now,

Christmas
Hi All,
2 days ago was Christmas. I have decided that Christmas is my favourite day ever.
It's so much fun. Lollies, chocolate, custard and PRESENTS!!! So many presents!!
I might ask my mum to take a photo of me with all my presents so I can show you. Everyone was having so much fun that we forgot to take any photos on Christmas day!
I'm home again now and I'm having so much fun playing with all my lovely things.
Tomorrow I might tell you more about everything.
Bye for now,

Day 23 and 24 of Christmas
Hi All,
Today is day 24 of Christmas! This is good news and bad news. Good news because tomorrow is the BIG day of Christmas. Number 25!! Bad news because I don't get any more advent calendar presents - boo!
Yesterday I opened package 23 and got a pack of cards with opposites! One side might say day and the other side night.
Then today I opened package 24 and found:
a truck for my sand pit. Very cool. By the way, please do not be worried - my cheeks really aren't that fat - I'm eating a biscuit.

Day 22 of Christmas
Hi All,
To those who are following my advent calendar fun - hello!! I'm so pleased that you're as excited about my presents as I am. When I bump into my friends at the moment the first thing they usually say is, "What was your present today?".
Anyway...
Today's present was:
Another Matchbox car! I now have quite a collection.
My 2 favourite things to do at the moment are jump on my trampoline until I get hot and sweaty (I am my dad's son after all) and play in my sand pit with the trucks I got from my Grammy and Papa for Christmas.

Day 21 of Christmas
Hi All,
I've had a lovely day today.
Lots of lovely people and some more lovely presents!
Today's box contained:
A ball!! As you can see from this photo, I was pretty happy about this.
Then some of my favourite big people came round to my house. We jumped on the trampoline and had some food and I got a present!
It's a blackboard shaped like a car. Very, very cool. So cool that I thought it worthy of blogging about, without any prompting whatsoever.

The best day ever
Hi All,
Yesterday I went to my Aunty Tanya and Uncle Cliff's house for Christmas.
I got lots of presents like trucks and garden tools and books and other wonderful things.
Today I opened box 20 and I got Tigger. I ran straight to the Christmas tree and hung him up.
Then Grammy, Mummy and I went to church. My daddy and Papa didn't go to church which I thought was a bit lazy but I found out when I got home why they didn't go - BECAUSE THEY WERE BUILDING ME A TRAMPOLINE!!!!!
It is SO cool. I jump and jump and jump and jump. I jump and say "Christmas Present, Christmas Present."
I love it!!

Day 18 and 19 of Christmas
Hi All,
I know some of you were wondering why I didn't post yesterday. Was I sick again? Did I not get a present? Was there some kind of catastrophe?
Well, no. I was just busy.
So today I will tell you about my presents (by the way, I think December might just be my favourite month of the year. I think January is not going to be so much fun).
Yesterday my present was:
Some bubble mix that smells like bananas. I love blowing bubbles in the backyard.
Today's present was:
A snail message board!! I can draw on it and then wipe it clean. Very fun.
I am very excited because today I am going to see my Grammy and Papa & Aunty Tanya and Uncle Cliff. We have lots of presents to give to them so it should be lots of fun!

day 17 of Christmas
Hi All,
Today is day 17.
No one is puking today but we are still taking it a little bit slowly.
I opened box 17 today:
and found:
A stamp that says "TOP EFFORT" with a picture of a rabbit.
Just quietly (between you and me) I actually had a peek in today's box yesterday so I already knew what was in it. I think I would have got away with it too had I not said "rabbit, rabbit" BEFORE opening the box. ooops.

Day 16 of Christmas
Hi All,
Well the last couple of days have not been very fun in my house.
After some serious puking from me and my mum, my dad also caught our disease and he's been sick today.
There has been a lot of puke and poop in our house.
BUT the good news is that I've still been getting my presents.
So, today I opened box 16 and found:
a combi van Matchbox car!! You might remember that I got a Matchbox car last week and it turns out I LOVE playing with little cars so I'm very happy to have a new addition to my set.
That's all for now,

On the fourteenth day of Christmas...
Hi All,
Today my present was a Santa kit. Mummy and Daddy helped me make it but it didn't really look like the one in the picture.
Also my mummy and daddy learnt that 2 phrases they never want to hear are:
"Daddy, mustard on floor. Clean floor?"
"Mummy, sticky carpet!"
They learnt that both of these phrases refer to poo on the floor. My belly still hurts. What's a boy to do?

On the thirteenth day of Christmas...
Hi All,
Today my present was a lion notebook!
It's very nice.
Daddy is home which is really, really good. I missed him a lot. It's so nice to have him home but I think all the excitement of having him home has had some unfortunate side effects. One of the things I like to do with my dad is jump on him when he's laying on the bed. Jump, jump, jump. I think I jumped too much because I puked all over his back. Puked A LOT. All over his shirt, trackie pants, the doona cover. Somehow I managed not to get any on me but mum has spent the afternoon washing everything that I got puke on. Daddy was very brave because after I puked all over him, he just waited there very calmly while mum sorted me out until she could help him get up to minimise the puke spillage.
Not fun.

On the twelfth day of Christmas...
Hi All,
My dad comes home tonight and I am very excited. I won't get to see him until tomorrow but I'm still very excited. If you ask me where my dad is I'll either say, "in bungalow" or "in Philippines" or "on airplane" - I figure one of those is right.
Today I opened the box marked '12' and I got a frog! Not a Freddo frog and not a picture of Freddo frog but a frog that makes noises if I squeeze his belly.
Today I went to Wombat Bend park with my mum after we'd been to some markets together. We had a lovely day. I'm going to try and get her to get me fish and chips for dinner tonight. That would make it an even nicer day.
That's all for now.

On the eleventh day of Christmas...
Hi All,
We're back home!
Today Mum and I drove back home from Grandma and Grandad's.
After my sleep I got to open the box marked '11'.
In it were some pictures of Freddo. But no chocolate. I didn't understand. Was my mum being mean? Why would she give me a PICTURE of Freddo. I don't want a picture, I want the real thing. GIVE ME CHOCOLATE!!
But then mum explained that she could put the picture on my skin, like a tattoo.
Can you see? Freddo is on my arm. After mum put it there I said, "Get it off." Mum laughed and said it had to stay on for a little while. At least I'll have someone to talk to in bed tonight.

On the tenth day of Christmas...
Hi All,
I have been much happier than that today!
Today is the tenth day of Christmas.
I opened my box marked '10' and I found Eeyore. He's a little donkey who is Winnie the Poo's friend. I hung him up on Grandma's Christmas tree. Then I asked mum where my chocolate frog was. I was hoping to organise some kind of swap but she wasn't interested.
Today is also Mum's Birthday. She turned 30 (that's really old). Last year when it was her birthday I was VERY sick and mum didn't have a very good birthday. The photo below was me last year on Mum's birthday just to remind you.
I have been much happier than that today!
So Happy Birthday Mummy!!

On the ninth day of Christmas...
Hi All,
Today I opened the box marked '9' (or '6' if I hold it upside down).
I am one happy 2 year old. Grandad was not so happy because I did not share.
For dinner we had fish and chips at a park near the lake. We fed the birds afterwards. It was great!
I'm tired now.

On the eighth day of Christmas...
Hi All,
This morning I did something very important. I helped feed some chickens. I tore up bread and threw it to the chickens. I only hit the chickens (with the bread) once or twice and they didn't seem too upset. I also got to collect the eggs. I dropped one of the eggs on the ground and it broke. I hope the chicken didn't see all that hard work go to waste.
Today I opened the box marked '8'.
In the box was some crayons!! 24 of them. I didn't even know that there were 24 colours but there are and I own a crayon for every colour.
I drew a beautiful picture that Grandma can put on her fridge.
That's all for now,
Roman

On the seventh day of Christmas...
Hi All,
Yesterday mum and I drove to Bairnsdale to see my Grandma and Grandad.
I've had lots of fun playing with my cousins and playing with lots of little cars.
I was a bit worried that because we aren't at home anymore that my little presents would stop but they're here!! So this afternoon I got to open the box marked '7'.
and it was a little stamp that says "SUPER"
I love it.
Today I also got to help Grandma set up the Christmas tree and even hang the wreath on the front door.
I've been working very hard to earn my keep!.

On the fifth day of Christmas...
Hi All,
Today has been a funny day. I'll tell you why:
and in it was.. CHOCOLATE (finally!)
My friends have told me that they get chocolate in their advent calendars and I was beginning to feel a little ripped off but today made it all OK!!

Today has been a funny day. I'll tell you why:
- I am still wearing my pyjama top. I have trackie pants on but for some reason never got my top changed.
- My dad left at 5:30am this morning to go to the airport but he came back again at 8:30am
- Everyone is sick and grumpy. Mum even put Finding Nemo on the TV for me and let me watch it (I haven't watched any TV for 2 months so this was a pretty major breakthrough for me)
- I didn't get to open my present today until after lunch.
and in it was.. CHOCOLATE (finally!)

On the fourth day of Christmas...
Hi All,
You'll never guess what I did today!!! I opened the box marked '4'! Did you guess?
Bet you can't guess what was in it?
Paint!! Lots of little tubes of paint.
So after I'd had breakfast, I put on my clothes and paint smock and went outside to do some painting.
It was lots of fun but I don't really like getting paint on me. My picture is hanging on the clothes line to dry right now. Mum says I'm like Picasso because she can't tell what his pictures are of and she can't tell about mine either.

On the third day of Christmas...
Hi All,
Today I got to open the box marked '3'.
And inside was a... whistle!!
On another note (get it??) I also now have my very own mailbox.
It's stuck on the front of my desk and sometimes there are letters in there for me!! I don't know how the postman puts my letters in there because we keep our doors locked but I've got 2 already!

On the first day of Christmas
Hi All,
Mum has made me an advent tree with lots of little boxes filled with little presents for me to open each day of Advent. It sounds like fun but I wasn't too impressed when I realised I could only open ONE each day. That means that there is still 24 sitting there. Not good.
Today I got to open the box marked 1.
Inside was 3 silver balloons!! They are fun to hit people on the head with!
Can't wait to see what's in tomorrow's box.

Christmas
Hi All,
Yesterday my mum, dad and I put up our Christmas tree!!! I never knew that you build trees branch by branch and that they come out of a box but that's how we did it.
I was very helpful:
Mum put the decorations at the top of the tree and I put them at the bottom (then mum rearranged the ones that I put down the bottom):
Sometimes I touch the pretty gold balls and then they fall off. When this happens, I've found the best thing to do is to push them under the tree and walk away. No one will ever know it was me...
