Ways to embarrass your mum

Hi All,

Today I found a great way to embarrass my mum. We were walking into Myer and my dad said the word "heinous" because we'd been listening to a song which had that word in it.

It occurred to me that the word "heinous" sounds a bit like the word "penis" so I said "penis" out loud. Mum hushed me and got a bit embarrassed. So I thought it would be a good idea to say "penis" very loudly, over and over again. Mum started to walk away (I think she was pretending that she didn't know me) so I started to chase after her yelling "Penis, penis, penis" as loudly as I could.

Dad thought it was very funny. Mum did not.

Wombat Stew

Hi All,

Today I went to see a musical called Wombat Stew with mum and dad.



It was really good! I clapped and danced and thought it was very entertaining. I asked mum if we could go again next week but she said no.

Singing

Hi All,

I really love singing, especially Play School songs. I sing them all the time. Sometimes I sing them when I'm supposed to be sleeping (I don't think mum and dad know though).

Shaving Cream painting

Hi All,

Yesterday mum and I did something very fun that we saw on Play School.

We made shaving cream paintings!


Here's what you do:

• Put some shaving cream into a container
• Add food colouring
• Mix it all around
• Put paper on top and press gently
• Scrape shaving cream off
• Hang up to dry

We did it in the backyard and it was so much fun. It was messy but good. I was in charge of putting the food colouring in the shaving cream and mixing it up.

I highly recommend it.
