Potty Training part 2

Hi All,

I'm sure you're all hanging out to find out how potty training has been going...

Well, mum's been keeping track and here's how it's gone:

So pretty good so far! 3 times today I even told mum that I needed to go rather than her making me sit down.




I have a lot of stickers on my cupboard now which is good. As soon as I do a wee in the potty I say, "Let's get sticker!!"

Potty Training

Hi All,

For some reason, my mum and dad decided that I shouldn't poop and wee in my pants anymore. They decided that I should do my business in the potty instead. I'm a bit annoyed because they never asked me what I thought. To be honest, going to the toilet in my pants has been quite convenient. But alas, no more. Now I have to wear big boy pants (I keep saying to mum, "but I'm a small boy!") and no more nappies (except for sleep times).

I've had a couple of accidents but I've also been to the potty quite a few times so I think I might be getting the hang of it. Here's me on my potty:



I get a sticker every time I do poo or wee in the potty. I love getting stickers.

Hi there,

In case you've forgotten what I look like here's a couple of photos (actually nine photos).



I'm very excited because it's Easter time and that means hot cross buns and chocolate. I'm also sad because I'm sick. I got a cold off my mummy. I woke up lots last night feeling very sad. When I woke up from my nap today I was crying lots (and had big tears in my eyes). Mummy said that my crying made her sad and I told her, “no – mummy not sad, ROMAN is sad.”

Encouragement

Hi All,

Mum and dad have taught me the importance of encouragement and praise.

This morning I asked mum if I could have a piece of bread. She said, "Sure" and gave me the bread. I said, "Mummy, I am so proud of you."

Yep, I'm pretty sure she felt encouraged after that.

Children's Garden

Hi All,

Today I went to the Children's garden at Botanical Gardens with Mum, Dad, Aunty Tanya and Uncle Cliff.

It was a lot of fun. I climbed up stairs and rolled down hills and walked in water and threw fruit and made it go "fump."

Hi All,

Today we all went to Healesville Sanctuary. We got to see kangaroos and koalas and a platypus and an owl and lots of other things. My dad thinks I have a short attention span because as soon as we'd seen one animal I'd say, "Let's see something else." It was a lot of fun.

My mum did something special for me yesterday. She hung a piece of wool across my bedroom. Yep. How cool is that?? Do you want to know what I do with it?




Can you see?? I turned it into a clothes line. Mum gave me pegs and I spent ages hanging up my undies and socks and tshirts. Mum is so lucky to be able to do the washing all the time.

Sandwiches

Hi All,

Sometimes I like cheese sandwiches.



I like them even better when Mum lets me eat them outside.
