Proud Dad

Hi All,

I have made my dad very proud of me.

I can fart. Don't get me wrong - I've been able to fart for quite some time but now I know about it and I proclaim it - "Roman fart!". I know that some people are stealth farters - they do it quietly and hope no one notices (until the smell hits them) - NOT ME!! I'm a proud farter like my dad. I want people to know about it. I also want them to join in. Once I've farted and announced it I also ask other people to do one too - " Mummy fart?", "Daddy fart?". A farting family is a happy family.

This is me and my dad:

Something new

Hi All,

I thought today I would try and tell you some things about me that you may not know.

  • I like having my photo taken. At least 5 times a day I ask my mummy, "photo? Roman?". Mum takes photos of me on her phone - like this one:
  • I like getting in to bed with mum and dad in the morning and then hiding under the sheets. I like mum and dad to hide too. I say "Mum, hide. Dad, hide. Roman, hide. Dark." One time mum told me it was scary, and then changed her mind and said that it's fun. I only remember the scary bit so I say "scary".
  • Mum bought me an ice pack that is shaped like a teddy bear. When I hurt myself I cry for a moment and then say "teddy bear hold." It makes me feel better.
  • I know the way to the park. I like going there.

That's all for now,

Feeding the birds

Hi All,

Please don't tell my mum and dad but the real reason I like throwing bread to the birds in our back yard is so that I have a snack for the next day when I'm outside and I'm hungry. SHHHH.

Baby cino

Hi All,

This morning my mum, dad and I went out for breakfast. Mum got a hot chocolate, dad got a coffee and I got a baby cino. A baby cino is frothy milk with chocolate powder sprinkled on top. I LOVE baby cinos. A LOT. I even got 2 marshmallows with my baby cino. I drank it up so fast. And then it was gone. I saw the nice waitress who brought it to me across the other side of the restaurant so I held up my cup to her and yelled, "Lady, more coffee!"

In case you can't tell, that's me in the photo above. Dad says that I look like a 14 year old girl in the photo so I wasn't sure if you'd be able to see that it was me.

Biscuits

Hi All,

I like biscuits. They are yummy. Mum usually carries some around with her so that when we're out shopping and I get bored I can eat some. I was outside today having my morning tea of biscuits and sultanas. I thought the birds would like some of my biscuits but they did not want them. I found this a bit upsetting. Why would the birds not like biscuits? Why would anyone not like biscuits??

I don't understand.

Outside

Hi All,

I spent the whole weekend outside with my dad. We had so much fun doing scrubbing and woodwork and all sorts of things. It was really, really fun. I am very helpful and am good at doing all sorts of helpful things. I don't think my dad could have done it without me.

One day I have to tell you the story about when mum and I came back from Bairnsdale in the car. Mum had given me my container of sultanas and my water cup. I was eating my sultanas and then couldn't be bothered holding my container anymore so I put the rest of my sultanas in my ear. When I got hungry I just got them out of my ear to eat. Then I put the straw from my water cup into my ear in case my ear was thirsty. Great story.

Pj's

Hi All,

I'm not at my best first thing in the morning but this is me at 8am when I have just gotten out of bed. These are my red train pyjamas. I like them a lot. If my sleeping bag is wet (because my nappy exploded) then I get to wear my red pyjamas.

Do you have red pyjamas? Are they your favourites too? Do yours have inbuilt feet? Yours are probably not as good as mine.

Pineapple

Hi All,

I love pineapple. I love it as much as I love my mum and my dad.

It tastes good and yummy. And then I get to drink the juice as well.

In the last 2 days I have eaten a big can of it. Delicious.

This is a picture of me eating pineapple.

Sleeping bags

Hi All,

Most of the time I go to sleep in my sleeping bag. I love it. When mum or dad has changed my nappy ready for bed, I ask "bag?" so they don't forget to put me in it.

Here is me in my sleeping bag (I'm a little embarrassed to admit but I was lying on the floor having a bit of a sooky la la at the time)

And here's me today after I'd gotten up at lunch time. I asked mum whether she would take my photo.

So that's me and my bag.

More fun in the park

Hi there,

Today I played with my cousins, Lachlan and Natalya. We went to the park and played blocks and watched TV.

I can't think of anything else to tell you right now, so I'll say goodbye.

Visits

Hi All,

I'm off visiting my Grandma and Grandad. And Toby and Sophie and Angelo. I like cuddles with all of them.

My Aunty Leanne is here too. But not my Uncle Tim or my Dad. They are at work.

Today we went to the park.

I like chucking bark at my mum and my Grandma.

When I climb up the ladder to get to the slide, I count one, two, three, four, five, six. I'm very clever.

today

Hi All,

Sorry for the lack of blogging lately. I've been sick, mum's been sick and dad's been sick. Lots of coughing and green snot at our house. But we're almost all better now.

Today I went shopping with my mum. I walked around for a bit.

When we got home I had my lunch. Then mum put some frozen bread into the toaster so she could have some toast. I wanted bread. Mum said I had to wait because it was frozen. I said, "BREAD!!". So mum said "if you want bread, you can have bread but it's frozen". So she gave me frozen bread. And do you know what? I ate it all up.

Yesterday I did some painting with my mum. I loved it very much. I even left little purple and yellow footprints over the tiles.
